You will work from a training handout which includes training information and case studies. You will receive official Certification from the Opening Minds program and the Mental Health Commission of Canada. Certification expires in 3 years.
Please note, it is the policy of the Mental Health Commission of Canada, that you attend the full 2 days to receive you Certification.
$260.00 (plus HST)
In-person training includes 2 breaks and a 30-minute lunch. Lunch
Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) training provides the knowledge, skills, and attitudes to support a person who may be experiencing a decline in their mental well-being, a mental health or substance use crisis until professional help is available.
The practical skills of MHFA help you develop the confidence and peace of mind knowing you can support those around you, and your ability to self-care and prioritize your well-being while supporting others.
